In anticipation of the advent of the autonomous driving society, we are working on the development of various automotive lenses.
As advanced detection capabilities are required for the various sensors used in the field of ADAS/autonomous driving, we continue to challenge ourselves to develop high-specification lenses that serve as the “eyes” of such sensors. To realize a safe and secure

automotive society, we will contribute to solving social problems such as traffic accidents and increasing traffic congestion by providing high-performance optical products used in image sensors and LiDAR that support preventive safety and autonomous driving.Automotive sensing cameras play an indispensable role in autonomous driving by detecting vehicles, pedestrians, and traffic signs, etc. based on digital image data captured by cameras, and accurately controlling the vehicle.

Since the camera can only detect objects that can be imaged, it is difficult for the camera to detect images in situations that are difficult for humans to see, such as when the weather is awful and visibility is poor, or when direct light is shining into the camera. In such cases, light sensor technology called LiDAR can measure the distance to the object by measuring the disturbance and reflected light compared to the laser irradiation.
